Music

Jeff Foxworthy once said

“If you mix pond scum with sewer water, you ain’t getting Evian™!”

I believe Art creates Art and I have used this for not only inspiration, but to control the mood and my emotions in my work.

XM Radio™ has eliminated the distraction of commercials, so for background music and general white noise, this allows me to stay focused. During more concentrated work, I utilize cd’s for a more predictable outcome!

The Basics

My workspace began with the basics. A drafting table with a light, bookcase and a small rolling file cabinet with 2 drawers. As computers entered the world of architecture in the 1980′s – I soon added a computer for word processing and drafting. Today the studio has grown to include an iphone, scanner, digital camera and an ever growing collection of reference material.

This is typical of most of the studio spaces I have worked both in school and when I entered the profession many years ago, however there are other aspects that I believe are just as important.
